Sony Has Just Made The Most Beautiful Ad Of The Year — Capturing Bubbles As They Turn Into Ice In Mid-Air

 Sony may have just surpassed its much-lauded 2005 “Bouncing Balls” TV ad with a stunning campaign that captures the moment when bubbles freeze in mid-air.

It's not obvious that bubbles can actually turn into ice as they float in air.

So Sony and its ad agency Adam&EveDDB traveled to Whistler in Canada — where it's really cold — to film the moments when bubbles develop intricate ice crystals in the freezing-cold air, and settle on the snow.

The team used numerous tools, like a special macro lens, cross-polarized lighting (which is usually used for microscopic photographs) to enhance reflections and of course 4K resolution technology (the ad promotes the new Bravia 4K TV range).

And while it might be hard to believe, the team says it used no CGI at all. The video is 100% real. And truly beautiful.
Just watch how the ice crystallizes on this bubble settling on the snow.

Nem kell rajta lenni a szeren ahhoz, hogy átjöjjön az üzenet. Ezt az animációt minden kamasz kölyöknek látnia kellene.

Anélkül, hogy bármi fontosat elkotyognánk a német animátor, Andreas Hykade legfrissebb munkájáról, gyorsan szólunk: készüljön fel, mert a kisfilm nagyot üt.

És nem csak azért, mert ennél hatásosabban, még soha, senki nem mutatta be azt, amit szenvedélybetegségnek hívunk, hanem azért, mert a videóban szereplő „aranyrögöt" gyakorlatilag bármivel behelyettesíthetjük a saját életünkből is: lehet az a kötelező kávé, a stresszoldó cigi, az alkohol, a drog, sőt a csokoládé éppúgy, mint a szerencsejáték.

Klasszikus értelemben vett happy end nincs, arra ne is számítsanak. Csak tanulságok.

Without giving too much away, here’s a short animation by Andreas Hykade that shows in a very simplistic way what drug addiction is sorta like.

The more the bird-like creature chases the high, the less he’s able to fly and the fall to earth gets bumpier each time. I’m not certain what the creature’s drug of choice is—it’s represented by a golden nugget—but I think it’s safe to say you can fill in the blank with anything addictive, even caffeine, gambling or an addiction to making money.

... s miután eljutunk oda, hogy minden (más)nap 15-20 percre könyvet/lapot fogunk a kezünkbe, ceruzával húzzuk alá a bekezdésre jellemző illetve a nekünk tetsző mondatokat.  Fogalmazzuk át és mondjuk el ezeket a mi stílusunkban, majd összegezzük őket egy olyan füzetben, ahova az aranymondatainkat gyűjtjük.

Lesz az ezer is! :-)
